Over 30 years of experience in media writing and television production, garnering many writing, producing, and directing credits including award winning dramas, documentaries, and corporate videos on topics ranging from medical innovations to oil field safety. Worked with CBC, Global TV, CTV, Knowledge Network (British Columbia), TVO (Ontario), and ACCESS Television (Alberta). Also have experience managing the Inuvialuit Communications Society in Inuvik, while producing and writing documentaries for Aboriginal Peoples Television Network (APTN).

- "A Day in the Life of Peter C. Newman", one of Canada’s foremost writers on the NancyBrook power elite. (I hour documentary aired on CBC and Knowledge Network in 2002)
- "Human Security" 4 X 60 mins. For Knowledge Network. This series covered such topics as Nuclear Disarmament, Landmines, and Peacemaking, working with people such as actor Michael Douglas and Queen Noor of Jordan. (2003 and 2004)
- "Wild Rose Country: A Spirit of Heritage" a 1 hour documentary for Douglas Hutton, King Motion Pictures, aired on Global Television in November, 2005 to celebrate Alberta’s Centennial.
- Writer/Producer/ Director of "Pipe Dreams" a 2 part mini-series, on the MacKenzie gas project, and 1 hour documentary "Bronco Billy" the story of a young man who was the first Inuvialuit Cowboy. (APTN 2007 and 2008)
- Writer/Director for "Sociodramas" for the Pallium Project (30 dramatic video scenarios) in an educational multimedia package, produced for Doctors, Caregivers, and Patients. Presently in use in teaching hospitals and universities across North America. (Shooting and production took place in the Yukon and Alberta) Now being streamed and used in Universities around the world (2008 updated)
- Lead Writer for "Exploring Careers In Pipeline Construction", video component for multimedia package (2009-2010)
- Trainer: Taught television writing and production to NAIT (Radio and TV Arts) students. (1990-1995)
- Manager ACCESS Television: Script Development Manager and Production Manager (in the mid 1980’s) with ACCESS Television, responsible for in-house and contract personnel for writing and producing programs.
- Manager Inuvialuit Communications Society (ICS): Acting Director responsible for finances (including grant application and procurement), television production staff, and a monthly magazine publication. (2004)
